About Dr. Lew

Dr. Caitlyn Lew was born and raised in Southern California and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California Berkeley, School of Optometry where she graduated with Beta Sigma Kappa honors. She completed her optometric externships at Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, West Oakland Health Center, and Meredith Morgan Eye Center at UC Berkeley.

Dr. Lew is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist and enjoys comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. She has a special interest in pediatric optometry and binocular vision disorders (strabismus, amblyopia, double vision, convergence insufficiency, etc.). Dr. Lew completed her residency training at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Anaheim, CA where she received advanced training in pediatric primary care, strabismus, amblyopia, vision therapy, and myopia control management.

Awards and Recognition

Dr. Lew is professionally affiliated with the Santa Clara County Optometric Society, California Optometric Association, and American Academy of Optometry. She is passionate about philanthropy work to better serve her local community and underserved populations around the globe. She has traveled to Honduras for volunteer medical mission trips and South Africa to volunteer at local orphanages.

Activities and Involvement

Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Lew exploring national and state parks, working on her latest DIY project, or spending time with her Havapoo puppy.
