Dr. Azinda Morrow, OD, FAAOAbout Dr. Morrow
Dr. Azinda Morrow is a Bay Area native who graduated with an undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry, and pursued a Cornea / Contact Lens residency at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. Thereafter, she returned to New York City to continue pursuing her passion for highly customized, specialty contact lens fittings and corneal management as a member of the SUNY College of Optometry faculty. As a faculty member, she was involved in clinical teaching in both the contact lens and myopia management clinical services, as well as being both a principal and sub-investigator on multiple contact lens, myopia control, and ophthalmic instrumentation clinical research trials.
Awards & Recognitions
Dr. Morrow is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), and a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA). As a member of these organizations, she has presented numerous posters at optometric conferences, published peer-reviewed articles, and lectured on topics related to anterior segment ocular conditions, corneal irregularities, and myopia management.
In addition, Dr. Morrow is certified in MiSight 1-day contact lenses for myopia control, the Euclid and Paragon CRT orthokeratology systems, and skilled in fitting standard and complex contact lenses, including gas permeable contact lenses, multifocal contact lenses, hybrid lenses, and scleral contact lenses. She is also glaucoma and TPA certified.Activities & Involvement
Dr. Morrow uses her free time to jog on the Bay Trail, spend time with her family, explore various cuisines, and photograph her adventures along the way.
